THE PRODUCT: ELCOMAX® ELCOMAX® non-woven staple fibre geotextiles were developed in the 1960’s in answer to the increasing hydraulic demands placed on revetment systems. However the unique characteristics of staple fibre non-woven geotextiles uses the right combination of fibres, needling and technical performance characteristics to provide a world-class protection geotextile to geomembranes and GCL’s. APPLICATION: Waste Management/Mining Solutions Typical applications is the use of an appropriate heavy-weight geotextile, such as ELCOMAX®, for protecting the lining system which is critical in the design of landfills, tailings dams and mine heap leach structures. |
